That’s why schools don’t tell the truth about slavery sis. If the average person knew the whole truth black people would demand the things Jim Crow stole from their ancestors. I recently began to dig into it and was shocked by what I read. I’m against homophobia but this is why black men are so anti-gay.
I would encourage people to look beyond what we are taught in school. I’ve been forced to reexamine my views on black people (I’m Portuguese) ever since I started reading into the psychological affects of the trade and why African Americans are still suffering because of it today.
