Fifth Harmony may be flying high with hits such as ‘Work From Home,’ but that’s not stopping its members from building up their solo stock.
Camila and Normani served up material ahead of the release of the group’s sophomore album ‘7/27’ and now its Dinah Jane‘s turn.
The 18-year-old, who is the youngest member of the quintet, was filmed recording material in the studio.

Sounds hot. Word has it that it’s a cover; but whatever the case, her voice is very studio-friendly.
That said, what do you think about the solo ventures this early in the game?
On the one hand, there are no guarantees in the industry. Hence, it arguably makes sense to position oneself in such a way where they’ll be working and winning well beyond the group’s run. Yet, the 5H story is still in its infancy and it’d be great to see them maximise their potential first.
It’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out.

So many things, one like you said, they were forced to be in this. Each onhad or have ideal of being solo. We make fun of groups that have a lead and the others are backup, but that’s one of the few ways that it can work. BUT the problem with that is the lead always leave and go solo.

This isn’t a TLC, each girl brings something to the group, each girl is different and it works when put together. LeftEye’s raps, T Boz rasp and Chili’s R&B singing, one could NOT do what the other could. This group you have 5 singers that can sing lead. I know DC isn’t the best examples of being a group, but they knew their rolse. Bey was lead, Kelly was 2nd lead, the other two were backup. Later in DC3, Bey or Kell grab the first or 2nd verse, Michelle comes in with the bridge and Bey takes it home. Or even PCD, Nic sings, Mel do a few ooh and ahhs and the other h0es dance in the back. 5H is being a DK (all over the place) when they could be En Vogue.
