Ariana Grande‘s ‘Dangerous Woman’ album campaign touched town on UK shores tonight.
The pint-sized powerhouse took to the stage to the headline the 2016 Capital FM Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium.
Grande’s set was comprised of some of her biggest hits, as well as current single ‘Into You.’
Peep her performance of the hard-hitting Pop jam after the jump…
While her vocal resonated (as always), the “performance” left a lot to be desired.
The audience seemed asleep and there were times we felt Ariana was coming to join them.
Sure her voice hit a home run, but she was serving jetlag and unbothered with the charisma and “choreography.”
We just wish the starlets of today would make more of an effort to ensure they’re memorable every time they hit the stage.
I like that she’s adding a little choreography into her LIVE sets.
And she sounds good, too.
I think this will be her second album to go platinum (pure sales) WW like the last one. A really great record if you ask me.
Well we didn’t ask you bih…
KIIIII
Already headlined the Allianz Parque last year in Brazil and pulled in a little over 22,000 in the stadium, while Katy, the more seasoned artist, only garnered 35,000 spectators. MARK MY WORDS! Ariana will do at least 35,000 on this upcoming tour.
Princess ? I wasn’t really a fan of hers during her first two eras, but she’s definitely impressing me with this one. Into You needs to be the next official single, it’s too good to be ignored.
She can sing. Ariana reminds me of a Broadway singer. I don’t really get “pop star” from her. More like a Broadway/acting type singer. I’m already bored with her 3rd LP, it’s pretty forgettable. I still listen to her debut album tho. Hmmm This is my 3rd time purchasing her album, so I am trying … But, I don’t know. I just don’t FEEL nor CONNECT with her. Great singer tho. Also, “Into You” is gett hella airplay. I hear it all the time. Definitely, a cute bop for the summer.
I agree. I’m already over the album as nothing stuck enough to stay on my m** player after 3 weeks.
I also agree that she can sing but i find her voice annoying (something i can get past if the songs are great) I’m also hoping that she’ll find some more range
That damn pony tail…
That’s what makes her look so damn childish, she needs a short cut like Taylor. Hell, she could even go Toni short at this point but that pony tail is not s*** nor has it been.
She is a type of singer who HAS the voice but not engaging from an audience perspective. The good thing is she does have time to get seasoned as a performer as she has a core vocal skill.
It’s not even about dancing just needs to add some more charisma on stage and also diction to words.
Maybe as some suggest coming out of her ponytail comfort blanket zone will help a tad also.
To be fair with Ariana, it’s not like your popstars of old were any more exciting on stage, ie. Mariah, Whitney. (Lil Venti Grande can’t touch either vocally even on their worst days tho)
Which is what is great about Rihanna… she may sound like a goat that got ran over but she sure knows how to light the stage with minimal choreography but exuding maximum stage presence.
Beyonce, obviously got it on the voice and stage front, but she’s unrelatable, which is not a problem, as she doesn’t need to be.

Whitney was always ELECTRIFYING on stage.
