Released following a slew of warm-up cuts, ‘Overdose’ finds the crooner in sensual territory. And while the lyrics make that statement, the visual serves as quite the exclamation mark.

He’s a cute dude, but this song and video are incredibly boring. I’m so disappointed and underwhelmed with today’s black male R&B/Pop artists. Frank Ocean and Luke James are the only two of the 10’s that really hold it down by supplying the masses with a fresh and unique sound. Leon Bridges, too. All of these other cats sound alike–and they don’t sound good. Even R&B veterans such as Tank and Usher are starting to disappoint me. Tank’s latest album is astonishingly horrible–it sounds like something Chris Brown would release. And if Usher’s album is going to sound anything like what he performed at the BET awards last week, I’m confident it will sound just a bad as Tank’s LSP2, if not worse.
