Yet, sales of its housing album, gifted the Pharrell Williams penned track added fuel and helped it turbo charge its way to #1. Marking Cabello’s first time atop of the coveted count.
Indeed, the flavorsome jam amassed the following in the current tracking week: 80,000 US downloads, 44.9 million Stateside streams, and 131 million all-format radio audience impressions.
Cabello now earns the rare honor of simultaneously boasting the #1 single and #1 album in the US.
It goes without saying that if there lay any doubt about her clout as a solo force, it’s been dispelled and then some.
Fun fact: ‘Havana’ now equals Sia’s ‘Cheap Thrills’ as the longest time taken for a song by a female to hit #1 – at 23 weeks.

Of all The chart accomplishments, having a #1 album and a #1 single in the same week just looks so dope…especially when that #1 is your first album! Congrats all around! I definitely was one of the naysayers when she up and left 4th Harmony…but she just did what formerly 5th Harmony never did which is to have a #1 album and a #1 single! I officially retire Camila Cobweb lol…from now on I’ll throw some respek on her name ??

I can admit when I’m wrong, and I was wrong about Camila Knowles lol…the last person to have a #1 album and single as a soloist was Beyoncé so she definitely is the Beyoncé of the damn group honestly! And she just matched Britney Spears’ Baby One More Time chart achievement so oops! Homegirl just cemented herself a spot beside some serious women!
