I adore TLC! I’m their #1 fan. 🙂
I love TLC and Belly. Flo Rida must be the opening act because he only had 2 or 3 major hits
I meant Kelly. God darn auto correct
I thought the same thing! However, I did my research and Flo Rida has sold over 80 million records. TLC 85+ million. Nelly…surprisingly 21 million. I went to the concert and all 3 acts were great. Flo Rida was a great fun opening act.
Nelly
Flo Rida has actually been far more successful that you think. He’s had 11 Top 10 Hot 100 hits including two No.1s (Low in 2008 and Right Round f/Kesha in 2009).
For a good stretch between 2011-14 he was actually one of the most popular ‘rapper’ on the charts at the height of the EDM dance craze before streaming replaced that w/ SoundCloud trap music.
RIP Left Eye, their catalog is too good for this.
I watched this yesterday and I must’ve replayed TLC’s intro 20 times. TLC has always had some of the best hip-hop dancers and choreography. The detail in their dance routines and the skill with which the dancers execute it is incredible. When I saw TLC last year, one of their dancers came out and sat down after the show and he was still out of breath from giving 100%. He was signing autographs and taking pictures just like Chilli and T-Boz at the other end of the venue. TLC and their dancers seem to be a real chill group and you can always see it on stage the way they interact with each other.
Damn Florida didn’t make smart career choices. He has so many good songs but his mistake, he didn’t move with the times, he didn’t adapt to the ever changing music landscape
he could have turned himself into a huge Vegas act like Calvin Harris or zedd.
I love these girls forever!!
