Madonna To Cancel ‘Madame X Tour? / Reveals “I Was In Tears From The Pain”

Published: Wednesday 25th Dec 2019 by Sam

Madonna‘s ‘Madame X World Tour’ has been plagued by a number of problems, including late starts, postponements, and cancelations.

And the latter continued this week when Madge’s show in Miami was axed on the same day.

At the time, no explanation was given; a fact which only riled fans the more.

However, in a new open letter, the Pop queen opened up about what’s happening with her health. And it has many wondering whether the tour can actually continue.

Her words below…

Via Madonna:

“I was in tears from the pain of my injuries,
Which has been indescribable for the past few days
With every song I sang, I said a prayer that I would make it to the next and get thru the show.
My prayers were answered,
And I made it.
I consider myself a warrior
I never quit, I never give in, I never give up!! However this time I have to listen to my body
And accept that my pain is a warning
I want to say how deeply sorry I am to all my fans. For having to cancel my last show
I spent the last two days with doctors
Scans, ultra sounds, Xrays
Poking and probing and more tears.
They have made it very clear to me that if l’am to continue my tour— I must rest for as long as possible so that I don’t inflict further and Irreversible damage to my body. I have never let an injury stop me from performing but this time i have to accept that there is no shame in being human and having to press the pause button………….. I thank you all for your understanding, love and support. As the Words to Batuka go……….. It’s a Long Road……….Lord Have Mercy??. Things have got to change.
And they will because
MADAME ❌. is a fighter!! Happy Holidays to Everyone ♥️?”

As it stands, there are 20 days before the trek’s international leg kicks off. But with the 61 year old citing the need to “pause” and rest for “as long as possible,” will that be enough?

For us, her words, while detailed, appear to skew purposefully vague to possibly accommodate a lengthier break from the road. Or pulling the plug altogether.

Whatever the case, health comes first. We wish her speedy recovery.

    She had a good run

Time to retire. Get well and enjoy your riches Madge. Stop trying to compete with today’s pop stars. You’re who they all want to be. Rest and live your life queen

Sales wise, yes. Other than that, no. She can’t sing or dance. And she openly worships satan

  3. Gee December 25, 2019

When you are unable to give your best because of limitations that is never a great thing. Wishing Madonna a healthy, and productive recovery at God speed!!!

Not really buying it, her concert was a global flop and tickets were not sellimg just like her album. She is can’t even sell out venues that only seat 2000 people. It’s more so the embarrassment of a flop album and tour! Just be honest which she would never do!

You’re comment is a joke. She still sells out stadiums across the globe. You should should retire from posting any comments on all social media. ?? what a joke you must be.

      • No Glory December 27, 2019

Nah, Madonna hasn’t sold out a stadium since the MDNA tour in 2012. You lost, bro.

Isn’t Kabbalah supposed to immunize ya against human frailties?!? ?

      I hollered

    • Missy December 26, 2019

This is the most ignorant comment. Even in a joke form this shows how uneducated you are. Spiritual healing and growth does not stop the aging process on the body. Madonna is in her 60’s….

      • No Glory December 27, 2019

Nah, Madonna HERSELF has said the does Kabballah and channels demons. Pretty sure HER saying it has more weight to it than some random tr2nny on the internet

      SCREAMING!!!?

Speedy recovery indeed and scrap the rest of the tour. Her fans (especially) will understand or have to deal…she is more important to her family than she is to any of us.

Yeah right ,if she doesn’t get her act together I can guarantee you between now and 6 months she will she die from cardiac arrest related to drugs get …Watch.

Go away Madame X tour! It was the worst show I’ve seen. The first time I left a show and was home in 40 minutes. ANYWAY, next time Madonna should sing her HITS with very little songs from underperforming albums. AND YES, Vogue still deserves to be the encore, not performed within 20 minutes of the show.

    • Luca December 25, 2019

Shut up . Madame x is a wonderful album if you’re an idiot you only have your mum to blame

      • Karen December 26, 2019

I agree with Yolanda..I was at the Philly show and it blew. Never have I been to a show where people were walking out. She dared to keep her fans in sweating conditions and talked politics the entire time. Watching a dog fight would have been less painful to watch. I don’t want to ever here from her again

  9. High Price December 25, 2019

Damn… well …. everyone isn’t Janet Jackson… dancing as hard as some of these 20 somethings… Good luck Madonna! Time to retire and do something else. Maybe she should adopt some more kids to pass the time.

    • XYZ December 26, 2019

Madonna is 8 years older than Janet. And 8 years is a lot for your Body if you’re 50. And Madonna was able to put on a highly energetic show at 53 as well.

With that being said, Madonna is annoying these days and that Album and what I saw from the tour was horrible

You Don’t need to kill yourself my queen…you gave so much to the world already now it’s your time to give to yourself and relax…your health is more important than tours…I guess you got enough money for 5 generations to come…relax and concentrate on brilliant albums…you are not in your 20s anymore…love you madonna…

All the years of hating and berating everyone else has taken a toll. You deserve no less.

  12. Concetta Longo December 26, 2019

    Maddie, darling…..
GET RID OF THE HIGH HEELS, OKAY?

  13. LOTUS December 26, 2019

Madonna, you are a legend, icon, and trailblazer. At this point in her career she literally has nothing to prove. I appreciate how she has always maintained her love of performing and giving new content to her fans, but hopefully she understands her health comes first.

She should think about scaling back her tour schedule. I feel like if she had a Vegas residency it would sell out in no-time, plus she dosent have to travel as much. Might be easier to manage too.
