Less than a month after Lil Nas X learned ‘Call Me By Your Name’ and ‘Industry Baby’ (the first and third singles from his debut album ‘Montero‘) had their respective certification statuses updated at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the project scores another win as its fourth single has done the same.

Details inside:

On January 31, the RIAA took to press to announce LNX’s ‘That’s What I Want’ – the fourth single from his eponymous debut LP – had reached Platinum status.  This means it’s sold the equivalence of 1 million copies in the United States.

The report follows news its predecessors, ‘Name’ and ‘Baby,’ are holding 4x Platinum and 3x Platinum status respectively (as we reported here).

With ‘Want’ now at a new certification tier, the GRAMMY winner boasts seven tunes certified as high or higher over his career.  Collectively, their commercial performance bring his cumulative digital sales total to 32 million in the U.S.
