Latocha Scott is letting the music talk for her.
To accompany the April 7 release of her debut solo Gospel album, ‘The Invitation: a Conversation with God,’ the award-winning songstress has unveiled the official music video to its housed hit, ‘Afraid.’ As we reported here, the song cracked Billboard’s Gospel Songs charts this week (a milestone for Scott as it comes as her first appearance on the tally).
For the tune’s cinematic visual, Latocha played star and director – alongside JMo Horton and Rich Laru – and addressed a number of headline-grabbing topics that have plagued her over the last few months from that infamous Soul Train Awards dress fiasco to her those pesky cheating allegations revolving around her husband Rocky Bivens, drama with her group Xscape, and so much more.

1) I like that she is addressing the drama in her music.
2) I like that she acknowledged the characters some of have said about her, at least she is cognizant of that.
3) I actually like the video concept and images. It was an elegantly stated story.
4) I think the music is a nice mixture of RnB and inspiration. If you were looking to hate on her, then I wouldn’t say this song is the song to do such a thing because the beat, lyrics, and the overall song works.
Haivng said that, now that she is at least aware of some of the criticisms. What will she do about it.

The same thing Beyhound does. Nobody holds that lady accountable for her stealing, witchcraft, levitating in churches, plugging her bloody wound with pages of the Bible, encouraging her slow fans to be unproductive thots before church and being a suspected alleged criminal behind the scenes with her crooked husband. She was and will be defended at all costs and so the standard shouldn’t change here. At least the music is great and that is what matters!

After watching this video I felt she was trying to asked for repentance/forgiveness of all her part in the shady dealings of stealing $30+million plus her lying and placing all blame on everyone else and a big I’m sorry should be given to her sister 👧 especially for not recognizing facts that are being presented. Her husband has her brain wash/dead to the actual truth. Until she repent and mean it her life is going downhill

Her husband has her really snowed. She’s seem to be so low in self esteem and she need his validation for any and everything.
