Beyonce is the latest major name to pay tribute to Tina Turner in the wake of the legend’s death.
As reported, the pioneering performer passed away today (May 24) aged 83 after a prolonged illness.
Like millions the world over, a wave of celebrities poured out their emotions following the loss of the legend.
And Beyonce is joining that chorus.
Since the onset of her career, the ‘Break My Soul’ belter has consistently touted Turner as one of her biggest idols and inspirations.
That love was reciprocated in earnest by Turner, who routinely heaped praise on the stage blazer who followed in her footsteps.
The pair notably celebrated their mutual admiration for one another at the 2008 GRAMMY Awards when they took to the stage together to perform a show-stopping rendition of ‘Proud Mary.’
Beyonce’s moving salute awaits below…
Via Beyonce.com, the singer wrote:
“My beloved Queen. I love you endlessly.
I’m so grateful for your inspiration, and all the ways you have paved the way.
You are strength and resilience. You are the epitome of power and passion.
We are all so fortunate to have witnessed your kindness and beautiful spirit that will forever remain. Thank you for all you have done.”
Beautiful! We will always have the memories.

They did, at the 2005 Kennedy Center Honors.
The blessing thing is, Beyoncé did give her a tribute/flowers and express how she felt about her when she did a tribute to Ms. Tina at the Kennedy Center, I believe it was around 2018
Eat the cake, Anna Mae.
Beyonce allowed that to happen.
Very tacky and tasteless
Yes, it was tacky and tasteless from beyonce to put that lyric in her song
