With the Christmas onslaught in the rear view, the updated Hot 100 looks a lot more current with appearances from the usual heavy hitters like Taylor Swift, Drake, SZA, and others.
The week’s top Billboard story, however, just may be the ascension of Doja Cat‘s ‘Agora Hills‘ – the second official single from her 2023-released fourth studio album ‘Scarlet‘ – to the all-genre chart’s top 10.

Peruse of the refreshed Hot 100 sees ‘Hills’ climb from #35 to #10. Here are the numbers that bolstered the boost.
- Streaming: 11.7 million U.S.-based streams
- Radio airplay: 39 million audience impressions
- Sales: 1,000 digital downloads
The 9th time she’s visited the chart region in her short but storied career, the Earl on the Beat-produced cut joins her previous chart-topper – ‘Paint the Town Red‘ – in this week’s top 10. ‘Red’ is #4.
With the placements Cat becomes the first female rapper in the Hot 100’s 65-year history to own two simultaneous solo top 10 hits.
When all songs are considered (solo or features), Doja joins Iggy Azalea and Cardi B as the only female rappers with concurrent top 10s.
