Production is in motion on the hotly anticipated Michael Jackson biopic.
And just days after the release date for the Antoine Fuqua-directed flick was announced, folk have been given their first glimpse at the movie’s lead, Jaafar Jackson, in action.

As reported, the late legend’s nephew will moonwalk onto screens in ‘Michael’ – which premieres April 18, 2025.
In an all-new tease, the first shot of the film has been shared across MJ’s social channels.
The caption read: “He’s ready! #MichaelMovie”
The reveal comes after it was announced that Juliano Krue Valdi will play young Michael in the movie – which is being brought to the big screen via Lionsgate and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ producer Graham King. Oscar nominee John Logan crafted the script.
