Anticipation is already sky-high for Beyonce‘s ‘Act II’ album – and it’s been cranked up another notch thanks to Dolly Parton.
As widely, reported Queen Bey’s incoming effort is set to drive in Country music direction, as evidenced by its chart-topping lead single, ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and companion buzz cut ’16 Carriages.’
Also swirling have been murmurs that the diva would be either collaborating or sampling Parton on the ‘Renaissance’ follow-up.
Now, details have emerged appearing to confirm some semblance of the chatter.

In a new interview with Knox News, Parton offered the following when quizzed directly about Beyonce sampling her classic smash ‘Jolene’:
“Well, I think she has! I think she’s recorded ‘Jolene’ and I think it’s probably gonna be on her Country album, which I’m very excited about that.”
Sbe continued:
“I love her! She’s a beautiful girl and a great singer.”
Expanding, Parton concluded on the topic by saying:
“We’ve kind of sent messages back and forth through the years. And she and her mother were like fans, and I was always touched that they were fans, and I always thought she was great.”
Beyonce’s ‘Act II’ arrives on March 29 via Parkwood Entertainment / Columbia Records.
