Beyonce has officially kicked off her colossal Cowboy Carter Tour – and she did so in epic fashion.
Queen Bey lit up the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles with a seismic spectacle anchored in the music of her GRAMMY Award-winning, chart-topping Country album ‘Cowboy Carter.’
Rocking all-white Mugler, the megastar ignited the stage with an anthemic rendition of ‘American Requiem’ and dazzled with showings of cuts from the game-changing record, including ‘Ya Ya,’ ‘Bodyguard,’ ‘Texas Hold ‘Em,’ and ‘Jolene.’
Much to the elation of the capacity crowd, the singer was joined on stage by daughters Blue Ivy Carter (who was featured multiple times during the show) and Rumi.
Attendees were also treated to a dedicated section to the culture-shifting ‘Renaissance’ album era, with electrifying showings of hits such as ‘Cuff It’ and ‘Alien Superstar.’
There’s much more to come from the ‘Cowboy Carter Tour’ – including four more dates at LA’s SoFi Stadium and six nights at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in June.

Resellers bought all of the tickets when they first went on sale, so technically it is sold out. But the demand has been low and resellers haven’t been able to get rid of the tickets.

Production was outta this world but it didn’t feel as electrifying as RWT. Something was missing.
From the livestream I saw, it would be easy to say that. It felt like a STRONG dress rehearsal. Like “let’s do a full show run-through for an audience”. I will check the show out again on Sunday and later this summer to see if it’s “found its groove” yet…not at all uncommon for opening night.
Honestly I felt the same way watching the live streams last night but after seeing HQ clips today the show was amazing! And we know it’s only gonna get better. I’m sure Bey went backstage and played the show back IMMEDIATELY lmaooo any kinks will be ironed all the way out after the first few shows!!

I agree 100% with the sentiment of your post. I think it’s more accurate though to say that “most of Bey’s prospective audience” doesn’t GAF about country music. Because baby, those MF’s turn out big time for CMA Fest and country artists they care about.

Orrrrrr maybe people can’t afford her tickets in this shaky economy. I attended RWT two years ago and spent over $700 for seats in the second row of section 130. I’m also a federal government contractor who is extremely budget conscious now. Those $80 nosebleeds are looking attractive though. There doesn’t appear to be a bad seat in the stadium.
