Tory Lanez Loses Major Part of Appeal in Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case

Tory Lanez has hit another legal wall.

Full story below…

The rapper-singer’s bid to overturn parts of his conviction in the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion has been officially denied.

The California Court of Appeals rejected significant portions of his filing, including one concerning Lanez’s driver’s failure to testify and another related to a new statement from a security guard for Kelsey Nicole Harris made during the trial.

Though those specific claims will not move forward, Lanez’s main appeal is active.

33-year-old Lanez was sentenced last year to 10 years in prison after being found guilty on three felony counts. His legal team had been pushing for an appeal,  but the court wasn’t swayed.

The denial means he will continue serving his sentence while Megan, who testified during the trial, remains publicly quiet on the latest development.

It’s yet another dramatic chapter in a case that’s been under the microscope from the moment it broke.
