“It’s Time…” for Mariah Carey to continue making unprecedented strides on the Hot 100 courtesy of her unrelenting hit ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You.’
Re-entering the all-genre chart at #31 last week, Carey’s annual yuletide domination started earlier this year than expected – a feat that’s helping the song march right into Billboard history books.
See how inside.
‘All I Want for Christmas’ is expected to land at the #11 spot on the updated Billboard Hot 100 revealed later Monday afternoon (November 17).
Here are the numbers forecasted to accompany its arrival.
- Streaming ≈ 14.1 million U.S.-based streams
- Radio airplay ≈ 5.3 million audience impressions
- Digital downloads ≈ 1,000 sold
Regardless if the prediction above rings true or not, Carey’s Christmas classic will undoubtedly hop into this week’s top 20 in what will come as a record-setting 73rd week of charting.
By doing so, the yuletide favorite will surpass Billie Eilish‘s ‘Wildflower‘ as the longest-charting unaccompanied female hit in the 67-year history of the Hot 100.
Among all female-led smashes, however, only Dua Lipa‘s ‘Levitating‘ with DaBaby can boast longer tenancy on the chart (77 weeks).
The new record is just one of many Mariah has set with ‘Christmas’ including longest-reigning #1 hit by a woman.

Her Christmas reign just won’t let up!
We see that one eye symbolism, Mariah. You aint slick, Boo. That being said, somebody go check on Beyonce. These types of milestones are only supposed to be for her, and nobody else.
Surely even Mariah is SICK of this song
God knows I am!
She makes $3 MILLION every year in residuals for this one song! Yea, she gets “sick” of it, all the way to the bank… 🙄
The haters ain’t buyin’ the song. The lovers will continue to record break everything.
And just like that, her latests album here for it all goes into oblivion.
