The ambitious cover will sit alongside other cuts conjured up for the highly anticipated soundtrack, which is being executive produced by Mrs Carter’s husband Jay-Z.
Set to be released via Interscope, a label source who’s heard King B’s rendition said: “It’s a very different take on ‘Back to Black'”.
Directed by Baz Luhrman, the Leonardo DiCaprio fronted flick premiere May, as will its accompanying soundtrack.

my main concern is that AMY had a unique voice and tone but more importantly she had a deep level of connection with her music, I actually feel her pain when she sings and Beyonce will have it hard trying to capture that.
Amy may not have been the most vocally perfect singer but in of of itself those vocal flaws she had is what made her voice and her music so magical.

I am an Amy Winehouse fan and I love Beyoncé. They have two totally different vocal styles and voices. Those saying Adele or Christina should have covered the song are totally wrong. Adele has a gospel soul tone, but not a deep, emotional soul like Amy. Christina’s voice is shot and would sound too young and she doesn’t have deep soul like Amy either. I will wait to judge the cover. Beyoncé is a trained vocalist and her voice has gotten stronger with age.
