After shining a positive light on her heritage through fashion, music and film, Pop star Jennifer Lopez may soon find her achievements etched into the hearts and minds of her fellow New Yorkers.
Who, what, where and why?
An epic plan, below…
In honour of a success story with roots in New York, a Mr. Edgardo Rivera launched a petition on ‘Change.Org’ calling on the Ruben Diaz Jr (the President of the Bronx borough) to name a street after Ms. Lopez.
I need the help of every J.Lover and fan in the world to help support and sign this petition so that we can see Jennifer Lopez have an honorary street named after her in her hometown of The Bronx!
Jennifer Lopez (J.Lo) is an American actress, dancer, fashion designer, perfumer, philanthropist, producer, recording artist and television personality. Lopez was born and raised in the Bronx section of New York City from a Puerto Rican family. She received her first leading role in the Selena biopic of the same name in 1997, becoming the first Latina actress to earn over $1 million for a role. Lopez ventured into the music industry in 1999 with her debut studio album, On the 6. The simultaneous release of her second studio album J.Lo and her film The Wedding Planner in 2001, Lopez became the first person to have a number one album and film in the same week. Her 2002 remix album, J to tha L–O! The Remixes, was the first in history to debut at number one on the US Billboard 200, while her fifth studio album, Como Ama Una Mujer (2007), received the highest first-week sales for a Spanish album in the United States. Her music video for On The Floor is the most watched Youtube video by a female artist. Lopez has established herself as a prominent figure in both the film and music industry, in a career spanning four decades. With record sales of 75 million and a cumulative film gross of over $2 billion, Lopez is regarded as the most influential Hispanic performer in the United States, as well as its highest paid Latin entertainment personality.
750 signatures have been signed in its support since its unveiling, with some fans citing her efforts to raise awareness for domestic violence with the movie ‘Enough’ and the part she played in pushing Latin-inspired music to the masses are two reasons she deserved to be honoured by the city.
750?? So that’s pretty much the same amount of people that bought that album… So what would they call it? Lopez Lane?
STOP TROLLING!

Aquarius was well received by music critics. The album received a score of 81 out of 100 on Metacritic based on 9 reviews, indicating “universal acclaim”.[
They should call it J-Ho Blvd. and make it a street where all the prosi’s hook for John’s. It would be fitting. The only talent J-No has is being a h0.
Pussyhole Avenue.
Casting Couch Alley.
Y’all are a motherphucking mess! LMAO
Yet they didn’t buy her album, nor single. For hispanics to a huge percentage of the US population, their artist sure do sell low to non in the states.
LOL You are a mess lol.
Dragging J-Ho for filth ! No talent bit€h deserves it.
QUEEN JLO ♥
She’s a native from the Bronx, so i don’t see the problen with it.
