It appears the sales of Robin Thicke‘s latest album aren’t the only thing that are non-existent. For, sadly, his marriage to actress Paula Patton is too.
The crooner’s partner of over 12 years has officially filed for divorce; a move which comes after the couple announced their separation in February.

TMZ reports:
Robin Thicke tried and tried hard to save his marriage, but it didn’t work. TMZ has learned Paula Patton has filed for divorce … and as for the most important asset in the marriage … she wants joint custody.
Paula cites the usual … irreconcilable differences.
She wants joint legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old son Julian.
The divorce was filed in L.A., so there will be no issues over whether Robin may have strayed. It’s irrelevant.
We’re also told the divorce is “harmonious” and there are no real issues that will cause a conflict.
Sigh.

I wish they could’ve worked it out but it may seem that whatever he did was his 3rd strike and she’s OUT! Hope they can co parent their son together the best way they can.

This by far is the divorce that keeps on giving.
This has been stretched on for what seems like a year now. WHO GIVES a damn!
They both drug abusers; that poor child
It’s a shame, I was rooting for them to work it out. They seemed to be a really good, happy couple. They’ve been together since high school. Hopefully they can work out the custody issue amicably, can co parent and hopefully remain friends.

I’m mostly sad about Mariah and Nick. As much as people didn’t really take them seriously, I felt they really loved each other and they were a very positive couple.
Ciara and Future also…
I wouldn’t include Ciara and Future with those other couples. Ciara wasn’t married to Future and just ended up being another of his baby mamas.
