Despite slipping out of the Hot 100 just one week after its premiere, it’s clear that R&B fans have done everything but sleep on pop queen Janet Jackson‘s comeback single ‘No Sleeep.’
A mainstay on the Urban charts’ rankings since its unveiling, the tune is now set to get a much needed boost in the form of a remix featuring hit rapper J. Cole.

“A version of the song featuring J. Cole will be sent to radio Thursday, Billboard has exclusively learned. The new iteration with the red-hot rapper will appear on Jackson’s new album, out in late September.
Jackson’s solo version of “No Sleeep,” which will not appear on the album, rose to No. 5 in its second week on Billboard’s Adult R&B airplay chart, making it the diva’s first top five hit on that chart in 11 years.
The J. Cole version will go to the Adult R&B format, as well as Hot R&B (urban mainstream) and Rhythmic radio.”

You sound incredibly dumb. It’s actually high on other charts just because of radio play. Making the hot 100 is difficult because that’s based a lot on streams. Kids with nothing to do all day steam all day.

the general public hasn’t been following the chart success of this song like the stans and haters do….so sending a remix to radio and dropping the video it basically looks like the song just came out to them …so its very possible for it to rebound….even tho this project is about the album and tour vs singles anyway…
Don’t even try that fan crufy nonsense. Enough of the public is well aware of this songs existence, but have simply not taken to it. A video only helps something that was already trending upward and had peoples attention. At this point neither a video or J. Cole is going to revive the situation. Songs rarely crawl to hit status now over extended periods of time. These days they either come out the gate swinging, or they immediately die. This song immediately died.
It is so obvious that Janet isn’t doing what’s being done “these days”. If she was, simple ass people would have a problem with that as well, smh.

I’m over Grape Juice at this point. All I see when I come on here are a bunch of pressed queens with nothing to do but post negative garbage all day.
