Lady Gaga is revving up her new album campaign.
Little has been divulged about the follow-up to ‘ARTPOP’ beyond the fact the singer has reunited with longtime collaborator RedOne.
And while a degree of secrecy still enshrouds the as yet untitled set, it hasn’t stopped the superstar from whipping up excitement.

On Instagram moments ago, Mother Monster posted that snap below with the caption “LG5 Time.”
The timing of the post is quite apt; last night marked the final show of the diva’s gargantuan ‘Cheek to Cheek Tour’ with Tony Bennett.
As such, with the Jazz chapter officially wrapped, it appears a measured attempt at a Pop comeback is on the cards for the 28-year-old.
We’re altogether optimistic about her chances of reclaiming chart glory. She’s played the last year like a seasoned tactician and earned critical acclaim as well as a Grammy for her efforts. What’s more, she’s staged an authentic image overhaul. All of which feels like the pre-cursor to a major return.
Excited that she’s working with RedOne again. Artpop might not have sold well but it is a very good album. And at least we all know Gaga actually possesses talent unlike half of the artists out here today.
I was just telling ppl today I missed her. Glad she is making music and with redone. At the time it was annoying, but she made some 00s pop classics that evoke a change and turn in popular music. Goood bad or otherwise, she introduced that sound to America and brought leotards and costumes and fun back into the music industry.

I actually agree with TGJ this time around. Everything thats transpired over the past year with all of her amazing american songbook covers and performances with Tony Bennett (along with the oscar performance and grammy win) feels like a precursor to a huge comeback. People aren’t sick of her anymore (cue trolls doing what they do best) and with the reunion with Red One this feels like a slam dunk.
at least she relies on real talent and performance skills, and not smoke and mirrors. when you’re actually talented, comebacks aren’t that difficult

I’m actually excited to see what she comes with…it feels like she took a much needed break, but I know she’s been busy with the album and tour with TB…she used to be EVERYWHERE, now she’s keeping a refreshingly lower profile…and that picture is giving me 80’s teas, and I love the 80’s chile 🙂 If anyone can make an 80’s album about New York, it’s born and bred Gaga…no shade to 1989…just make it more Prince-like, with explicit content and lush, glamorous penthouse suite music…like Vanity 6 and Sheila E lol…but keep it jazzy and street too…and still a bit artpop…more ballads please…maybe a little house music..ok, I’m done lol 🙂
Never understood her appeal. I think her music is mostly garbage TBH and she is thoroughly obnoxious. I was thrilled when Adele came along and rendered Gaga and her antics pointless.
No thanks, I’m good. Contemporary music is finally starting to get out of that awful electropop/EDM phase her and the BEP ushered in and I’m not at all interested in seeing a return to it. Plus she’s as dated as Jersey Shore.
She should come up with 80s pop & do more songs like DWUW & FASHION. She’s talented & can sing.

Does the world of music even need Lady Gaga anymore? The reason she exploded in the first place was because she came along exactly when people were getting tired of the Hip Hop and Urban Pop that rules most of the 00s and needed something different. Now that’s coming back because people got tired of the gay euro pop that she opened the floodgates to that over-saturated the late 00s and early 10s. In other words: thank you Lady Gaga, but your services are now longer required.

Lol there was nothing authentic about her desperate attempt to prove she isn’t just a gimmick this last year. Even with critical acclaim and a Grammy she is still washed and the gp is no longer checking for her. Even more with the fact that she’s working with RedOne to serve up more generic and dated edm music that we all left back in 2012. If she’s releasing in 2016 it will be Prism vs Artflop all over again

Other than a few gays at my college literally no one I know of is checking for Gaga (neither are they really checking for pop music in general; generic trap rappers, non-dated EDM artists such as Disclosure/Kygo, and “big” indie bands like Tame Impala are what her “target audience” are into right now).
And dead at people using “”b-but Grammyz!!1″” although no one in the industry cares about them other than mainstream pop acts. The hip-hop and rock community stopped taking them seriously a long time ago. Even then Prism was more acclaimed than ARTPOP.

ArtPop was a good album just her management situation messed everything up , hopefully everything is together this time she has great talent and her performances are always interesting to watch
