The singer married the stylist last September (07) and two months later she gave birth to their first child, Usher Raymond V.
And while Usher insists marriage and commitment have changed his life for the better, he admits monogamy doesn’t come naturally to him – and he has to fight his wandering eye.The star tells Cosmopolitan magazine, “I’m good at making love, but I’m not good at being in love. It’s a conscious decision every day to love the person you’re with.”
Though I try to keep my commentary on his relationship with Tameka to a minimum, I can’t help but wonder (aloud) why he seems like he has to prove how much he loves her to everyone. Just a thought…

I think i kno y he feels as if he has to prove his love for Tameka… Its becuz he mite not really love her, he jus married her becuz he was havin a kid with her. I mean when he was wit Chilli he didnt have to prove his love 4 her, & everybody cud tell that he really did love her… Truth be told, i think he still wants to be with Chilli (I didnt read Sam’s post about his words on Chilli, so forgive me if i’ve said something that was already a known fact). I never heard Usher talk about how hard it was to stay faithful to Chilli, although now we know that that was challenge for him too, so y is he talkin about it now. But anyway, Usher jus needs 2 get his priorities straight & keep makin music, becuz his love life doesn’t seem to be workin out. But than again, maybe he jus needs to keep it private.

Usher should be more like Marvin Gay, that man did his music and we didn’t hear about his wives. Never heard about Tina’s problems until she left Ike. I agree that Usher should b more like Marvin Gaye on the personal side, but Usher is definitley the king of R&B, he’s given us timeless hits like “You Make Me Wanna”, “Nice & Slow”, “You Remind Me”, “U Got It Bad”, “Confessions”, “Burn”, “My Boo”, “Love In This Club” & the list can go on, but i’m jus gonna stop rite there. I’m sure that Marvin Gaye would even agree to Usher bein crowned as the king of R&B!
