That album neither blossomed nor bloomed and in time since she has focussed on her role on The Voice and motherhood.
Promises of music have been plentiful, yet there’s been no definitive word on a timeline. Until today.

During an appearance on the Ellen show, Xtina said verbatim:
“I promise…I promise the album will be out before the end of the year. I’ve been working on it and I’m super excited [about it].”
Granted promises in showbiz have all the weight of a toothpick, this is the most date-oriented Aguilera has been about the project – which reportedly features production from Pharrell and Da Internz.
If due before the year’s end, surely a single is near?

Also, where is Usher´s album? Fergie´s? I swear Madonna, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion struggle way less to release their albums at 50 years old or more than these younger artists. Obviously their impact was not as big as these 3 judging by what´s happening years later. You really need to make it BIG in more than one way to have a career decades later.
Going based off Pharell and Da Internz prior work history, I’m guessing it will be a modern day R&B album with Pop inflections?
