Unleashed tonight to the pleasure of her devoted #Katycats, the tune was lifted in support for the upcoming Summer Olympics. Via its accompanying press release, the ballad will be played throughout NBC’ss coverage of the Rio games – which will see its opening ceremony kick off on August 5th.

Katy has made half he amount of albums as Rihanna, 4, but has more than half the amount of number 1’s, 9. A basic math problem will tell you that Katy SLAYS Rihanna when it comes to singles, even more so given the fact that Rihanna does more features than any other popstar.
Katy is very boring TBH same producers same pop formula. At the end of the day Rihanna’s discography trumps Katy’s by light years it’s not even a comparison. None of her albums have even sold as much as Loud let alone GGGB

I’m not a Katy fan, and it doesn’t really matter if she makes boring music, personally I feel like her music is for kids, but it’s still true that when it comes to singles, Katy does far better than Rihanna on the hot100. With the amount of music that Katy’s put out, for her to have 9 number 1’s, all of them from her albums, is more impressive than Rihanna having five more with four more albums and countless more features.
