Still Standing was a good song, but she needs a power ballad. She has one of the voices that could help save r&b, because there is a huge void in the industry right now. We need our real singers back… Monica, go back in the studio and turn it out!!!!!!

I’m kind of indifferent about still standing…that beat doesn’t really say still standing to me but I do like the lyrics of the song. Her voice is better than a beat like that. The stargate track sounded like it might be good though. If she would just hook up with Stargate and Ne-Yo, it’ll be a wrap.
Monica is sooooooooo amazing….She is doin’ what a lot of artist need to do, TAKE CONTROL OF THEIR MUSIC! So many of them are following the trends and playing it safe, butnot MONICA! She said she didn’t want a TECHNO song…..LOL

I Was Really Hooked Into The Show…
I’ve been a fan of Monica since the first album and I must admitt, I did fall off from her after the last album… I hated the fact that it was only 10 songs long and she came out the gate with “Everytime the Beat Drops”… But I still supported her and bought the cd… The thing I love the most about Monica is the fact that she madd honest even when she messes up… And shes so relateable… Also it was good to see Rocko in the show because I have to be honest, I had a bad feel for that dude but I know can understand why she’s with him and to be honest she doesnt have to make anyone understand… But I am fully behind her and fully support her after seeing the material that shes bringing… She’s not playing… So right now its Her and Ashanti bringing in the comeback material. So Monica, Keep Doin You and F*** THESE HATERZ Out here… U got this!!!

I enjoyed it, I think that the fans get to see all the effort & work that she puts into it
– Even if you don't like her single @ least you know her intention wasn't just to make a one-hit-wonder club song, her aim is substance.
I think she's getting there, and I hope she does well with this project. :]
Mo & Brandy are gonna come back big i think because the music and harmonies are not that hot right now….
Substance is what fans need and that what was missing from the games sum-what with the newer artist…
Monica is really humble and real about her carrer and i'm real glad she takin my authority on this project..

That record exectutive is really looking for the tech kinda song it seems the dumb fool.
I think he abit right in terms of that song being the 1st single but it's a great song to show her audience what and who's she's about..
Luda came hard on the track as well so 2nd or 3rd single..
Think the chorus is catchy which will do well in the charts.
If you check the charts alot of singles seem to have those catchy hooks..

I really like the show. For better or worse, the real Monica has come out. Her vulnerabilities and insecurities are all out on the table.
What I anticipate most is seeing where all of the effort will lead. Monica is more than just a pretty face. Her voice is a beautiful gift and I believe she deserves a chance to restore her body of work to the higher marks of yesterday.

She said it herself, she needs soulful songs with pop potential. I absolutely agree. No more of this hood mess, leave that to Keisha or whoever. Monica’s not even hood like that is she? If so, I didn’t see any of that in this show. Granted it’s just a tv show, but she came off as a loving mother who enojoys spending time with family. Unless they edited out the thug stuff. lol
