Kendrick Lamar‘s ‘DAMN Tour’ has been witnessed by a number of superstars since setting sail this summer, and the latest is Janet Jackson.
The Pop queen, who is herself getting ready to launch her ‘State Of The World’ trek next month, was snapped meeting with the Hip-Hop titan backstage after his Los Angeles show last night.
Since the onset of his career, K.Dot has consistently showered praise on the singer and cites her sound as one of his biggest inspirations.
He also famously sampled her hit ‘Anytime, Anyplace’ on 2013’s ‘Poetic Justice’ – the title of which gave a nod to Jackson’s 1993 movie with Tupac.
With the diva prepping new music following the birth of her son Eissa, we’d be all sorts of here for a Janet and Kendrick collaboration. In many ways it’s overdue!

He begged her to be in his Poetic Justice video, but she was living in Dubai and could not oblige. I need them to do something together and I need to Janet and Bruno to do something together as well as dance together.

A Janet and Kendrick collaboration would be the perfect jumpstart for her tour. While I like K-Dot, I’d rather hear her doing something with Q-Tip again. The whole JTribe was there also. Wish there had been a picture of all of them…can’t wait for her tour!
To be the greatest female performer you have to be able to sing too…she may be the greatest female dancer of all time.
