Mariah Carey stopped by Good Morning America yesterday to talk about her marriage to Nick Cannon, her wedding ring, her new fragrance Lucious Pink as well as her other projects.
Randomness: is it me or was Mariah supposed to be touring with ‘E=MC²’? I’m personally hoping she’s sitting this one out – those live performances this year were down right terrible most of the time. It would be sad to see her putting what’s left of her voice through the strenuous tour process. Maybe with the next album…

she said a tour was in the works but did not say when. she said it could start as late as jan or march of 2009. she will put out the deluxe version at the top of 2009 and then tour. she didnt do the emancipation tour til a year after it came out. and anything Beyonce puts out is pure gold to this site and youve been comin down hard on mariah. she didnt promote this album and it was just fun for her. she sold over a million records and that is with little promotion. beyonce has to shove herself down everyone’s throats to get her sales.
She’s smart not to tour right now! Who the hell has the money to go to anyone’s shows right now besides Madonna because she’s really the only one that doesn’t have a problem selling out (granted she can’t sell her albums to save her life anymore).
Mariah’s smart to sit this one out as far as a tour goes. Funny how Sam fails to ever mention Janet is playing to stadiums with only 48% occupancy! Favoritism anyone???
Sam’s just hating on Mariah as usual because she is the better artist between the two and Janet is not selling out like Madonna. So what if Mariah’s performances were not spectacular this era she has nothing to prove to nobody her songs are still hot and doing better than anything Janet will put out, ever. Sam probably can’t get over the face that Janet ain’t the business no more and Mariah still is no matter what she’s doing. Watch her new songle and vid get crazy airtime and hit the top 10…hey if its another #1 all the better she has a better chance at going to #1 than Janet ever will. A deluxe album? Nobody is buying that damn deluxe album Mimi! LOL Nobody bought the original release, so can she please stop with repacking and reselling it. She needs to just do the tour next year, take a vacation, get a divorce, marry someone else, have or adopt a kid and then gather her thoughts for the next album.
No… She’ll get the “I Stay In Love” single and video out and it will be another #1, I hope. Then there is “Right To Dream” from “Tennessee”, maybe some other single, then the tour, and maybe a baby… 🙂
