While Bow Wow is no stranger to online controversy due to a number of outbursts and rants over the past few years, his most recent meltdown sent shockwaves as he announced a desire to quit the music industry, give away all his money, and begin a career at the GameStop – a popular video game retailer.
Taking to social media yesterday (July 30) in a series of now deleted postings, the rapper (born Shad Moss) slammed ‘hateful gossip sites’ and announced:

Beyond the announcement above, Moss made repeated mentions of wanting to visit his therapist and referred to himself as ‘the most hated artist in the world.’ And, as if those cries for help weren’t enough, he dropped a bombshell on fans when he revealed his intentions of pulling out of mentor Jermaine Dupri‘s recently announced 25th anniversary So So Def tour. So So Def Records, founded in 1993, is turning 25 and its founder (Dupri) is set to commemorate with achievement with ‘The Cultural Curren$y Tour’ – an 11 city North American outing designed to celebrate the label’s most prized acts.
Scheduled to hit every corner of the U.S. with stops in New York City, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Detroit, and more, the performance roster originally included Xscape, Bow Wow, Youngbloodz, Da Brat and Dem Franchize Boyz with special guests Anthony Hamilton and Jagged Edge set to make appearances.
Shortly after the announcement, however, Bow Wow let it be known he may not be joining the crew:
