Despite the tanking of his most recent LP ‘Brass Knuckles’, Nelly continues to churn out videos from the set -the latest being for the Polow Da Don produced ‘One & Only’. Put simply, both the song and video (though slightly better) are ‘just there’ aka ‘blah’. Unlike some though, I still feel as if Nelly can make his mark again – just not with the crappy songs from this album. “Dust yourself off and try again…”

So what Brass Knuckles was not his best album, at least he made it as being #3 on the charts, dang, show a little love can you, Oh, and another thing, you may never know, as much as he can pull it off singing for a rapper, he just might do an R&B album one day. WAY 2 Go Nelly!!! I love the fact that he can do mullti genre songs & get away with it. It would be cool if he did a gospel song, jazz whatever, Nelly can do it. Now I like this song from Nelly, the other singles before from this album were crap.
I guess it’s too late for the haters, Nelly has already earned lots of millions and doesn’t seem to be worried about the lack of sales from ONE album alone! Not every album will be great, but this song is great! Very well put together. I really like it and it shows maturity.
As for Beyonce, I am not sure why we are getting the stats on her. Is this blog about her? Just curious
I love the song, and he is looking s*** as ever in the video…and yeah I think he still has the potential for another hit album, even though this one didn’t do as well as expected…but I think, he like many others in the industry, need to take a step back and not be so rushy, rushy in a sense when it comes to releasing albums, and actually put time and effort into a project irregardless, of what they have accomplished thus far….laters
I really like this song and vid…who knew Nelly could sing and play a piano…they need to stop playing. The video is sooooooooo cute. Yes Nelly has matured and this look is hot!!!! If he doesn’t sale well with his album…oh well he’s an entrepeneur..he owns part of a NBA team and has a successful clothing line generates millions (no failed success here).
I must add also what does Beyonce have to do with Nelly…last time I check Beyonce was a girl, did she go through a S** change and become a man?
