Pharrell Williams is bringing his musical gravitas to ‘The Lion King.’

This week saw the lid lifted on details surrounding the soundtrack for Disney‘s live-action remake of the 1994 classic.

And while it brought insights into the roles the likes of Beyonce, Donald Glover, and Elton John will have musically in the movie, it’s now been revealed that Williams is on-board too.

Details below…

The Neptunes star, who helmed the super huge ‘Happy’ from the ‘Despicable Me 2’ soundtrack, has produced five tracks on ‘The Lion King’ OST.

Included are Beyonce and Glover duet ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight’ and ‘Hakuna Matata.’

Mystery continues to surround surround the to-be-announced Beyonce solo number. Did Pharrell re-team with the Queen and produce that too?

Pending an answer, the President of Music & Soundtracks for The Walt Disney Studios, Mitchell Leib said of the material featured:

“The incredible musical talents who came together to contribute to this project are unparalleled. Favreau’s deep love and instinct for musical collaboration inspired Hans Zimmer, Lebo M, Pharrell Williams, Elton John, Tim Rice, Beyoncé, Donald Glover and the entire music team to an awesome level of generosity, spirit and commitment, resulting in a powerful journey of song, production and performance.”

At least he know how to write a hit song that everyone both kids and adults will like, unlike beyonce who cant “write” a hit to save her life.
Who can remember that flop song God made you beautiful from that flop animation she voiced? That’s right nobody

Beyonce is gunning for the best original song oscar but she wont get it.

Beyonce will NEVER win an Oscar, an Emmy, or Tony award. She isn’t nearly as talented, original or creative as she & her sheep thinks she is. Beyonce is a misguided, trend hopping, glitter unitard wearing, p|_|ssy popper who hasn’t used real vocals since “4”.

It’s realky sad and extremely unfortunate.

Beyonce desperately needs to get back to SINGING, and jump off this trap queen bandwagon she’s been thrashing her blonde wigs on over the past 6 years, specifically.

STOP POSTING ARTICLE AFTER ARTICLE ABOUT THIS SAME, OVERBLOWN, OVERHYPED SOUNDTRACK. As much as I truly love, respect & honor the work of Pharrell Williams, his contributions to soundtracks are usually dull, off putting & inappropriate for the screen. Pharrell struck GOLD with “Happy”, but rarely do any of his other film tracks evoke any real sense of emotion. Everything falls in line with his signature sound. He isn’t needed in this project, either.

Honestly, please STOP making 7 posts per day about a contemporary LP that isn’t going to birth any new hits or contemporary classics.

I can’t wait for the writers & staff of TGJ to see just how exaggerated the focus of this soundtrack turns out to be. You all are doing WAY TOO MUCH!!

Pharrell is attractive & should stick to working on mainstream, studio hits for conventional, record company artists. That’s it.
