March’s Playboy cover girl Aubrey O’Day stopped by the Chelsea Lately Show this week to promote her spread in the famed magazine. O’Day also spoke about her sexuality, Diddy and Danity Kane, as well as her family’s take on her posing nude.
I’m all for doing as you choose, but Ms. O’Day’s reasoning for appearing in the magazine got me thinking…(insecurity is a b*tch).

Aubrey really does seem like a, keeps it real, straight forward, tell it how it is, chick. And that is respectable.
To me when she speaks it doesn’t seem fake. The only thing is, I’m sure she could have done some other sorta deal with Playboy being the covergirl, but not showing all her goods, but hey, it is what it is, and if it works for you, great!
Still waiting on the solo single/career!

Oh and her reasoning for posing for Playboy was a legit reason in my eyes. but since she said she never felt confident/comfortable in her own body, that seals the deal on her plastic surgery questions.
because it’s like, if you have the money, and you don’t like something about yourself, why not change it up a bit!

Well the whole thing is, if she was “More selfless when it came to Danity Kane,” then she wouldn’t be so out there scoring interviews on the Wendy Williams Experience (Or whatever her TV show is called), Chelsea Lately, etc.
People obviously like her and value her enough to want to interview her on their show, where have we seen D. Woods, Shannon, Aundrea, or Dawn get interviewed on national TV (other than MTV) publicly? I HAVEN’T!

I think this interview shows just how smart she is. She speaks in respectful ways towards all former Danity Kane members. No where have i seen her tarnish their image with snide comments like others from Making the Band have.
Note how everyone thinks shes an idiot and another “dumb blonde” then are shocked when she opens her mouth and speaks, no one expects her to be wise. Sure some of her decisions are not great in your/our eyes…but she is in the public eye none the less. She is in the news more than Diddy is.
Danity Kane was agreat girl group that ended too soon and its a shame, but at least she recognizes the talents of the other girls; while some may not acknowledge hers.
