The world tour of ‘Fallin’ singer Alicia Keys is the latest to fall victim to postponement due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Taking to social media Thursday (May 21), the 15-time GRAMMY winner alerted fans of the rescheduled jaunt (which was originally slated for a June 5 kick off as we reported here).

“We’ve all been waiting patiently to see how the world is going,” she tweeted. “We held onto the dates as long as we could BUT safety and the good health of my beautiful fam is paramount.”

Using an avatar to make the reveal, Keys stated:

To my beloved fam: you know my heart is 💔 because The ALICIA World tour 2020 will have to be rescheduled. We’ve all been waiting patiently to see how the world is going. She concluded the announcement in a separate tweet by stating:

“Trust me, I cannot WAIT to see you soon. In the meantime, please be safe, be patient and I’ll be with you as soon as we can all be together again. I adore you with all my heart!! Rescheduling dates and more information will be forthcoming…”
