It has been a tumultuous year for Dr. Dre, and now, it appears as if it will continue.
His father, Theodore Young, gave a tell-all interview with Page Six, where he revealed that he and Dre “have no relationship” at all.
His words below…
“I haven’t seen Andre since his grandfather died and I can’t even remember when that was. We have no relationship. My other sons love me. They tell me they love me. But coming from where I come from, most young men like Andre who have a big success don’t give a d**n about their dad.”
However, Young went on to confess that he was not always the ideal father and wasn’t always around.
“His grandmother raised him.”
The latest accusations from Dre’s father come at a time when many of his personal relationships are in turmoil. Currently, he is going through a divorce with his estranged wife Nicole Young. Additionally, his daughter, LaTanya Young, revealed that she hasn’t spoken to her father in 17 years.
And folks are still gonna turn a blind eye & give him a pass just because they think he’s some “legendary hip hop producer”. He’s always been trash, from the beginning.
Most if not MANY BLACK men don’t have relationships with their fathers. Why single out Dr, Dre because he’s wealthy?

Dre has some serious things going on. I’ve never been able to support his beats by dre headphones or any of his products because of the stories about him. Sad. All of that talent
Same I’ve always only heard negative things about him. Sounds like he’s very self absorbed, with greed and power. The root of all evil. He’s having health issues and the whole nine. He better reach out to God and fix these broken relationships.
