Which Wendy Williams is which?
On her eponymous talk show – ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ – the media personality was presented with her very own wax figure courtesy of Madame Tussauds. It caused many to do a double take.
More details below…
A representative for London-based Madame Tussauds told Williams that it took 20 artists 800 hours to craft the figure, including more than five weeks alone for the hair.
The wax Wendy Williams is seated in a cushioned chair identical to the one Williams uses on the show. The figure wears her jewelry, including the “W” necklace that was a gift from the show’s distributor, Debmar-Mercury. Even the smallest details are accurate, as a watch on the wax Wendy’s wrist is set for 10 a.m. — the start time for ‘The Wendy Williams Show.’
Williams took to Instagram to celebrate her new wax figure, saying:
“Another historic day in Wendy History. I’m so excited to be part of @madametussaudsusa and glad that my son was with me on such a special day.”
