The Pop veteran was interviewed by 97.9 WRMF and she seized the moment to reveal that she recently shot two music videos for her forthcoming Spanish-language project.
Even more exciting? Xtina shared that we’ll be getting the first taste of the music this Fall and that she’ll be rolling out more across next year in 6-track packs.
She said:

“There was so much material that we’re going to be releasing it throughout next year, in sort of six-song increments every few months.
I’m really excited about releasing this music in a different way. [The new songs and videos tell] whole story and take you on this incredible journey…[it’s] my labor of love for a part of me and a part of my culture that’s so important, that isn’t always brought out in my English music.”

I think she should of done an EP. Just to rebrand herself and get folks talking. But either way I’m excited.

Honey… i’ll have you know that Christina’s “mi reflejo” is one of the best curated albums in spanish….and over 20 years later songs from it still play on the radio.

I couldn’t tell if her performance in Friday’s Walt Disney concert was new or a pre-recorded vocal from long ago. She sounded great. I hope there’s more of that for the album.
