I think the song is bomb. Very raw and classic r and b type stuff (no pop at all). The few hater comments are sooo funny. I actually think alot of people are really jealous of her for some reason. And it’s currently at #36 climbing from #54, but RTW has dropped to #20 after being at #14 for a while. I used to not like RTW, but after seeing it live on Oprah, I absolutely love it.
@Camp11 – You’re absolutely right, people have put this woman on a pedestal way too high. That’s alot of pressure to put on one person. And, now she’s not living up to the “hype” that others have created around her. Maybe this was what needed to happen. I think the public needed a slice of “humble pie”, because people put Beyonce on this level of being a “God”. Constantly telling others to, “Bow down to the Queen” is an act of worship. Period. I mean, I like the woman and enjoy her singing and music. But “bowing down”? Seriously? It’s just music people, not the second coming. With her not reaching #1 on the charts like everybody kept saying, it just goes to show you that Beyonce is human at the end of the day and that she will not be #1 at everything. And, that’s o.k. It doesn’t make her less of an artist, it just shows that she’s going to have “ups and downs” just like any other artist. People need to stop blowing smoke up her ass and making her out to be this “perfect” person. Stop with all of this, “snatching wigs” and “slaying” s***. People are expecting for her to do too much, and when she doesn’t deliver on that, then people feel let down. The further you guys keep pushing her up to “god” like status, the harder she’s going to fall.
END OF TIME is going to be her next SINGLE which is ALSO a MESS of a SONG!!! She just does not have REAL SOUL singer TALENT, she is too POP!! She just does not translate SOUL singing well even when she attempts to make it RAW it sounds like a contribed, controlled MESSS. I dont kno what you all are hearing but i hear ALOT of FORCED over singing and straining with absolutely NO SOUL, song is a MESS. ORG!!
