From ‘Beautiful’ and ‘Can’t Hold Us Down’ to ‘Fall in Line,’ Pop diva Christina Aguilera is no stranger to powering empowerment anthems to sales recognition.
As such, it should come as no surprise her 2021 single ‘Pa Mis Muchachas’ – the inaugural release from her first Spanish-language project in over 20 years – falls in line with that tradition.
Look inside to see what we mean.
On Thursday (February 17), the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) took to press to announce ‘Muchachas,’ found aboard Aguilera’s January 21-released Spanish EP ‘La Fuerza,’ had crossed its threshold for Latin Gold. This means it’s sold the equivalence of 30,000 copies in the United States alone.
Featuring Nathy Peluso, Becky G, and Nicki Nicole, the star-studded track – a top 40 hit on the U.S. Hot Latin Songs chart – comes as Xtina’s first Latin Gold-certified single and follows her only other RIAA Latin-certified effort – the 6x Latin Platinum ‘Mi Reflejo’ (for sales of 360,000 to date).
The news comes just weeks after the GRAMMY winner learned ‘Fuerza’ entered Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums charts at #2. Click here to read more about that.

“had crossed its threshold for Latin Gold. This means it’s sold the equivalence of 30,000 copies in the United States alone.”
