The Oscar winner played W’Kabi – the confidant and best friend of the late Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa – in the billion-plus-grossing first film.

And, like most of his cast mates, Kaluuya was expected to reprise his role in the upcoming sequel, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’

However, it’s been confirmed that the 33-year-old departed the project due to scheduling conflicts with his upcoming film ‘Nope.’ Directed by Jordan Peele, Kaluuya leads in the Universal Pictures flick alongside Keke Palmer.

While the specifics of the ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ plot have been tightly guarded, it is known that the film will hit the big screen on November 11. As for ‘Nope,’ it lands in theaters on July 22 in the US.

This movie is shaping up to be a major disappointment. They should let the original, just life as a classic. The universe is already showing us signs that you can’t top the original.

Four months out and no plot details or sneak peek? I guess they have a ton of editing to finish.

They let budding talent like him go while keeping Idiotitia Novax, this movie should be great but it sounds like a mess and a headache for the studio
