Candace Owens has long fused her controversial political commentary with equally polarizing musings on Pop culture. And she’s continuing along said trajectory by taking aim at Kim Kardashian.
Owens, who made headlines last week by joining her friend Kanye West in wearing a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt at the rapper’s Yeezy fashion show in Paris, alleges to be in possession of audio that reveals that “Kim is not who she says she is.”
And the drama centers around remarks about Whitney Houston.

Speaking on her podcast, Owens claimed to have come across voicemails Kardashian left ex-boyfriend Ray J – slamming Houston (who he was believed to be dating at the time). She said:
“Some tapes are making the rounds, of Kim Kardashian and she’s talking trash. It’s not the sweet little Kim K that she presents today. She’s nasty; she’s calling Whitney Houston a crackhead and she’s yelling at Ray J. It is the opposite version of the Kim Kardashian that your kids have been following.”
Owens then played a clip of the audio, in which Kardashian allegedly said:
“I think you’re honestly a sick human being. You are just so desperate that you’ll do anything for attention, and you’re so disgusting. Go have fun with old hag Whitney, you’re so sick – and crack is definitely not wack with you guys. You are just, honestly, it makes me laugh how disgusting you guys look.”
The audio ends with the socialite-turned-mogul making a quip about Houston’s song ‘It’s Not Right But It’s Okay.’
