Quavo has paid impassioned tribute to his nephew and Migos bandmate Takeoff.
As reported, the 28-year-old was shot to death in the early hours of November 1 after a disagreement broke out at a party he attended in Houston.
Now, a day after the rapper’s funeral at the State Farm Arena in his hometown of Atlanta, Quavo (who was with him at the time of his death), has opened up about the shocking loss.

Taking to social media, the MC – who recently embarked on a duo venture with Takeoff said – poured out his emotions. He stressed “you never competed with me, we were always on the same team.” The star went on to call Takeoff his “angel.”

Takeoff’s funeral was a star-studded affair, with his Migos bandmates (Quavo and Offset), Cardi B, the City Girls, Drake (who spoke on stage), as well as Justin Bieber, Chloe Bailey, and Yolanda Adams who all performed musical tributes.
