Jonathan Majors’ legal team is wasting no time setting the record straight in the wake of the actor’s arrest on March 25.
As reported, the ‘Creed III’ actor was charged with strangulation, assault, and harassment in what the NYPD has described as a “domestic dispute.”
Now, Majors’ team has issued a statement that not only provides further context to the story but also stresses that there is evidence showing that the 33-year-old is “completely innocent” and “provably the victim.”

Defense lawyer Priya Chaudhry says in a statement:
“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is provably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows. We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.”
The address continued:
“All the evidence proves that Mr. Majors is entirely innocent and did not assault her whatsoever. Unfortunately, this incident came about because this woman was having an emotional crisis, for which she was taken to a hospital yesterday. The NYPD is required to make an arrest in these situations, and this is the only reason Mr. Majors was arrested. We expect these charges to be dropped soon.”
The statement further added that there is video footage from the car in which the alleged incident occurred, witness testimony from the driver and onlookers, and two written statements from the woman recanting the allegations.
Chaudhry’s remarks come after a rep for Majors strongly denied the allegations and stressed that “he has done nothing wrong.” The rep concluded: “we look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.”
Suffice it to say, it looks like the latter is well underway.
This just open the can of worms. Supposedly others had a bad interaction with him prior before. He might have evidence to deflect from this one issue, but others are speaking out abut his behavior. Why not before he became famous people didn’t report, why wait now, is it jealousy? I understand people be scared to say or report, but why now when he becoming a house name??

I heard murmurs about his unhinged behavior in the past. It’s not hard to believed based on interviews that I’ve seen. I hope the victim receives swift Justice!!!!!

They are saying the victim is a white PRE-OP trans women who just started transitioning a month ago. Not his girlfriend.
