The series chronicled the early life of Hollywood superstar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson – from his humble beginnings to family life to his initial ascend in the wrestling business.
Despite an initial strong start, viewing figures waned.
Season 3, which wrapped in February, averaged 1.4 million – which was down 1 million from season 2’s average (which itself was down 1 million on the 3 million average of season 1).
Per Deadline, this led to the network officially canceling the series.
Johnson starred in the Nahnatchka Khan and Jeff Chiang-created show alongside Joseph Lee Anderson, Stacey Leilua, Ana Tuisila, Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, Uli Latukefu, Fasitua Amosa, John Tui, and Matthew Willig.

Everything the Rock does just isn’t interesting nor funny 💁..I’ve seen the preview to this and knew it would be short lived, the Rock really isn’t that interesting to have his own show based upon his life..people really don’t care 💁
