Taking to press, Billboard announced this week’s top 10 albums with ‘Speak Now’ leading the pack.
The project earned 121,000 equivalent album units, where streaming units made up 73,000 and albums sales contributed 47,000 units.
With it holding onto the #1 spot for a second week, the album becomes Swift’s first re-recorded album to spend its first two weeks on the top of the charts.
Previously, ‘Red’ debuted on top and spent one week on there before being knocked off by Adele‘s ’30.’
Taylor’s version of ‘Fearless’ spent its debut week on top before returning to the top 6 months later for a second week.
Taylor is like the Beyonce of white people. I’m sure the witch community is over the moon to see one of their own continue to soar to new heights.
