Despite having a pretty quiet 2023 as he’s baking the follow-up to his 2021 debut studio album, ‘Montero,’ rapper-singer Lil Nas X is still managing to piss off the conservatives.
Having already caused uproar in the past for everything from selling “Satan shoes” to delivering racy award show performances, music videos deemed sacrilegious, and more, the chart-topping hitmaker (born Montero Hill) seems to always find a way to get on the group’s bad side.
Beyond most recently being the subject of admonishment from celebrities and critics alike for claiming he’s entering his “Christian era,” he’s also landed in the sights of the American Family Association (AFA).
Look inside to see how the latter organization is waging war on his endorsements of Vitaminwater.
While Vitaminwater’s partnership with LNX was announced last summer, 2023 saw the Coca Cola brand charge full steam ahead with a slew of futuristic ads starring the GRAMMY winner – some of which feature same-sex admiration (as seen above) or him donning androgynous clothing (as seen below).
After the commercials caught the eye of the AFA, they launched a petition through their OneMillionMoms division to put a stop to VitaminWater.
“The overall theme of each commercial in the campaign is a purposeful glamorization of the LGBTQ lifestyle,” OMM said on their site. “Vitaminwater is pushing an agenda of sexual confusion instead of promoting its product. The PC-inclusive ad attempts to blur the biological distinctions between males and females.”
At writing, the campaign has collected 16,941 signatures. Lil Nas X has yet to publicly respond to the hoopla.
So tired of the thirsty faguette
Clearly, they don’t have other problems. I like Lil Nas X but these ads are quite boring.
Black excellence 😂😂😂😂😂😂
No, that’s MLK, Harriet Tubman, Obama, Malcom X and Rosa Parks. LNX’s existence mirrors yours…💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩🤡🤡🤡
Bish, please. He does what his Jewish manager says. This comes from your people, not ours.
