Predicted First-Week Sales (SPS): 78,000 units
Predicted Billboard 200 Debut: #3
According to Hits Daily Double, ‘Home’ will push total sales of up to 78,000 units by the end of its inaugural sales tracking week.
Should the prediction prove true, the 8x GRAMMY winner will boast his biggest first-week sales in over a decade.
It’s of note that ‘Coming Home’ serves as Usher’s first independent release, arriving on his own label Mega (in partnership with Gamma).
Should the numbers hold, it’ll see the superstar more than double the 38,000 launch of his previous LP, 2016’s ‘Hard II Love.’

Usher is 30 years into his career so sales aren’t gonna be high anyway. Then Toby Keith death caused his albums catalogue to boom for Usher to compete with.
Then Kanye West ego and feelings got hurt from Kim Kardashian working with and going to Usher residency multiple times so he decided to drop his album with Ty $ign on the same day so Usher had to compete with 2 different fanbases buying one album.
His team dropped the ball by not having any Coming Home songs performed during the halftime show or even a commercial for the album.
All that but the album still been number one on Itunes and Amazon music since it’s release.

I feel like this album was thrown together for the Super Bowl and tour. Hardly any promo for it and for good reason – it’s not of great quality. His tour still sold out. The public wants his old hits.
