The holiday season is truly the most wonderful time of the year for Mariah Carey fans (affectionately called #Lambs).

Not only is their diva of choice her most active during the quarter, but her perennial hit – ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’ – usually finds its way back to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

To ensure the tune’s revisit to the chart’s pole position this year, Carey’s been pounding the promo trail in support of the yuletide classic and her annual holiday tour.

Most recently spotted at Buzzfeed, the 55-year-old tapped in for their adorable ‘Puppy Interview’ segment while discussing everything from acting to a new studio album and much more.

“I’m working on some new music, and I’m very excited about it. Now, I just got to get the time to do it,” Mariah relayed.

CAREY ON RUMORS OF A 2025 WORLD TOUR:

“I know I’m working on a project that needs to be finished, so I don’t think we can go on a world tour. I would if I were able to finish the project while on tour, but I can’t,” she said.

CAREY ON WHAT TV SHOW SHE’D LIKE TO GUEST STAR ON:

“Probably ‘Abbott Elementary‘ – it’s so good. I love that show,” she said after admitting it’s one of her favorite shows to binge. “I love the main characters of the show, but there’s also kind of less of a star character named Jessca – like no ‘i’ – and I live for her. She’s hysterical.”
