According to TMZ, the rapper’s mom lost her life after a brave fight with lung cancer.
She was 69 years old.
According to sources, Nelson passed away yesterday (December 2) in Joseph, Missouri. Eminem’s rep also confirmed the news.
Early in his career, the MC referenced his mom in lyrics and it was clear that their relationship had its challenges. She even sued him for defamation following less than endorsing lyrics.
In recent times, it’s been claimed that they were on much better terms. Nelson congratulated her son on his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
