Tory Lanez may be currently serving a 10-year sentence for his involvement in shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot, but not even imprisonment could stop him from harassing the femcee – at least, that’s what she is asserting in recent legal docs.
Taking to the Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday (December 17), Stallion (born Megan Pete) petitioned a judge for a restraining order to stop the Canadian rapper (born Daystar Peterson) from using “surrogates” (aka third parties) to harass her online.
This, after her protective order issued to prevent previous alleged harassment is no longer in effect.
“Even now, while behind bars, Mr. Peterson shows no signs of stopping,” the filing says. “Despite being sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Ms. Pete, Mr. Peterson continues to to subject her to repeated trauma and revictimization.”
According to Megan’s legal docs, Tory engaged in the harassing activity himself before imprisonment and then encouraged others (primarily bloggers) to do the same to cast doubt on her story.
Her petition says her assertion can be corroborated by prison call logs from Lanez at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi. Said logs may be the subject of review when the court hearing on the new order happens on January 9.
