The 2-time GRAMMY winner, hot on the promo trail in support of his new single ‘Hotbox‘ and its soon-to-be-released parent album ‘Dreamboy,’ had fans on edge after reporting what appeared to be a health-related nightmare.
Taking to Instagram, Lil Nas X (born Montero Hill) uploaded a video of himself in a hospital bed while delivering devastating news about facial paralysis.
“Soooo I lost control of the right side of my face,” captioned Hill who just celebrated his 26th birthday on April 9.
In the clip, he not only demonstrated an inability to laugh or even move his cheeks.
And though he did not explain in detail what may have led to this shocking health scare, some immediately assumed the superstar singer-rapper – who has been notorious for trolling over the years – was simply using the revelation to garner attention.
Most others quickly offered their sympathies, however, flooding his social media handle with well wishes. See examples below.
While many assumed the condition reported was Bell’s Palsy or stroke-related, at the time of this report Hill has not confirmed his official diagnosis.
Update (April 15): Lil Nas X responded to fans with a video update about his health.

Stunt queen
I didn’t know LNX was 26. I thought he was in his early 20s for some reason.
He pulls stunts. We will see. If it’s true it was probably that dang on shot. Justin Bieber had a situation too. Other people caught bells palsy too now, Chile. Bye, Nas X. Just say no to Fauci.
You’re an ignorant, uneducated idiot.
