‘Bombs‘ songstress Dawn Richard delivered an explosive testimony on day 5 of the federal sex crimes trial against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs (May 16) when she took the stand to recount witnessing his abuse of former girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
After days of the model-singer herself sharing multiple accounts of sexual humiliation, physical abuse, degradation, and more, Richard corroborated the claims by not only alleging he beat Ventura “often” but even threatened to kill anyone who reported his actions to the authorities.
Details inside.
Richard, a former member of the Diddy-founded girl groups Danity Kane and Dirty Money, filed her own civil suit against the embattled mogul for allegedly abusing and threatening her.
She told the court an instance of the latter came after one of the times she saw him brutally attack Cassie.
“He came downstairs angry and was saying ‘where the f–k was his eggs,’” Richard recalled of Diddy who – according to her – then took the skillet with eggs inside and tried to hit Ventura over the head with the pan.
Richard says Cassie curled into a fetal position to deflect the impact of the hits, but that didn’t discourage Diddy from punching and kicking her.
When quizzed on why she didn’t call the police at the time, Dawn pointed to the shock of the incident.
“I was scared for her and scared to do anything…I had never seen anything like that before,” she said.
She claims Combs later called her over to his house to explain away the incident as a “passionate” lovers quarrel, but warned her that “where he was from, people go missing if they talk.”
Dawn told jurors she took that to be a death threat.
She is expected to continue her testimony on Monday (May 19).
Diddy has not only pleaded not guilty to the federal charges of the trial, but also vehemently denied the claims of brutality and sexual misconduct in Dawn’s civil suit.

Not you called dirty money a girl group when Diddy was In it lmao yall always trying to clown on the slick!
Diddy is going to prison. The prosecution is successfully putting his character on trial almost guaranteeing that any semblance of him remotely committing the crimes he’s charged with will automatically appear to be much worse and widespread.
Gurl bye! These ashy hos are gangsters! Now playing victims… smh… they didn’t say s h I t long time ago, why wait until now? Money money money!
Why now? Because of federal subpoenas. They don’t have a choice.
